biograpy of Areum Im

Areum Im was born on June 9, 1990 in Gongju, South Korea. She grew up in a small peaceful town with a large loud family. She lived with grandparents, parents, and two younger sisters and liked to spend time with her family. She learned responsibility and tolerance as the oldest girl.

When she was young she was such a shy girl. She didn't want her teacher to call her name in class. She still considers herself as a shy girl, so she tries to be more active when she meets peole. She is a hard worker because she always does her best to finish her work or study perfectly.

She admires mature people who have various experiences so she likes to learn something from people or media such as TV, internet, and books. She likes to watch TV dramas in her free time. She enjoys not only Korean dramas but also Americna and Japanese dramas. She also likes to read books especially, J. D. Salinger's books. She is reading one of his books, Franny and Zooey.

She is studying English Education in the University to be an English teacher in South Korea. The reason she decided to be an English teacher is because she found out that she likes to teach and spend time with kids during the community service as a tutor. For her dream job she tought that she needs to study English harder and deeper, so she came to the University of Mississippi in January, 2011. She realized that she is learning not only English but also American culrute.

She loves to experience a different culture so she hopes to travel lots of countries including Egypt and Africa in ten years. She wants to marry a man who is kind, gentle, and reliable and to live a happy life as an admirable and mautre English teacher.
