My mocaic

My Mosaic is inspired by the movie Kill Bill.

Whe

n Uma Thurman we

nt to the air port, she said:” One ticket to Tokyo” and took the ticket. Then the movie scene focuses on a plane ticket where is a red arrow and a circle on it. Although this scene is very simple, I think it contain lots of information.

Red means danger and exciting, so I use red color to create the arrow and circle. It’s easy to understand that this trip will be very danger and exciting, most importantly, filled with blood.

At the start point of the arrow is a yellow spot, you can easily tell that this is Uma Thurman. Yellow is the main character of the heroine.

In the movie, there are lots of bad guys dressed in black and riding bikes. Bla

ck means bad and evil. So I put some black spots in the circle, which means there are lots of bad guys waiting in Tokyo. I think it’s a perfect expression of the scene.

There is a white spot surrounded by those black spots, that’s the boss. Although white usually means pure and kindhearted, but in this case, it makes people feel bad. I think the direct was trying to set off by contrast and succeed.

This picture is inspired by my mosaic.

As you see, I created my mosaic with lots of dots, and those dots are colorful. So, when these two things combine in my mind, the first thing came to me is m&ms.

They are round and cover with different colors.

In some ancles, they just looks like a beautiful mosaic.

  1. I must admit that I would have never thought about the scene in the way you interpreted it!!And I loved it!danger sorrounding the car expressed with one color, sorrounded by motorcycles expressed in another color and all and how all that danger is connected by an arrow to the yellow dot that represents Uma Thurman...impressive!

  2. I was impressed that you put the whole story in one small scene. I like how you give a meaning to red color that Uma Thurman's trip will be dangerous. It was very interesting interpretation.

  3. The mosaic is what i like most,it is self explanatory enough, atleast the way you describe the killer moving to the centre where the boss is,is a very good idea.
